I think the iPad is deceneded from the pocket pc , nearly the same sync program.
Some of the things I choose my ppc years ago was the stylus that stored neatly in the device and the door on the back so you could fit a spare battery when needed , I wish apple had done the same.
As a new owner of the iPad I am loving it.
