when I switched on my iPad 2 this morning there was a message box "Could not send emails due could not connect Apple"
I switched off hoping to clear the problem, however the spinning wheel is still showing on screen, and I cannot switch on or off. This has been over 3 hours now since the problem occurred and wheel still spinning.
My iPad is 2 months old. I hope you can help me please.
Kind regards - Valerie Grieve.

Sounds like you may have to sync your device with iTunes via pc or mac.

Hold the power and home keys at the same time until you see silver apple logo. Can take 10-12 sec.

You need to do a reboot: Hold both the power and home buttons until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo then appears (the slide to unlock screen may or may not appear). Once the logo appears, release the buttons. After a time, your homescreen will appear. Please note that it may take some time for the Apple logo to appear or for your homescreen to appear (or both). This is normal. Eventually, the homescreen will appear.

That fixes a surprisingly large amount of iPad errors...

Good luck.

Marilyn

P.S. Ooops, Outlaw types faster... Sorry for the duplicate info!
