Playing iphone games on ipad

Hiya
Is there anyway to play your iPhone game with the saved data over on the iPad?
Spend hours on achievements, but when I play it on iPad I lose everything and have to start over

Not that I know of. Perhaps if the game is linked to game center then maybe but I have not found a way yet. Maybe others have?
