Password problems in Office2 HD file since new update

I have not been able to access a password protected file in the Office2 HD application since I downloaded the latest update to it this week. When I enter the password it replies back with "incorrect password". Another problem with the password entry box is when I try to backspace an incorrect entry it freezes and I have to cancel the process. Has anyone had similar problems? As I mentioned, this only happened after I downloaded the latest update in Oct. 2010.

Office2 HD password entry problem since new update

I contacted Microsoft regarding the issue. They are going to fix the bug and release a new update. They could not
give me a date, but indicated it would be soon.
