Since the megaupload link is down (probably because the user manual was heavily watermarked *tsktsk droidlife*), you can find the original, untampered with manual over there:

I am not really sure that is will defeat the ipad in popularity, nor in screen quality and touch response. I doubt it will, but it is its most serious contender imho, don't you guys think?

It is part of the whole production process. The owner's manual has to be (or should be) ready to go by the time the actual product is released.
