It's pretty crazy how many publications are reporting predictions today for tomorrow's big iPad event, which starts on October 22nd at 10AM PST. Over the past year there have been rumors in regards to the new iPad Mini 2 and iPad 5 that have got most of us puzzled and wondering what Apple's final call will be for these devices.

Acclaimed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has an accurate and trustworthy record in Apple predictions for the most part. In his final note before the big event, the KGI Securities analyst has some predicted specifications for the new iPads.

We've been hearing that the iPad Mini 2 and the iPad 5 will both acquire the Touch ID sensor, which would become a standard for all Apple mobile devices. With Kuo's recent report this is not the case, claiming the company will be limiting supplies to the iPhone 5S. Touch ID is not the only thing Apple will be limiting, but also the gold color option, which will still be an exclusive for the 5S. Good news is that the analyst predicts the iPad Mini 2 will have a Retina display, but unfortunately both devices will be tough to find around the launch date.
