No sound in games in my ipad 2

Hi,

Off late, I noticed that I am unable to activate the sound in my iPad games like ' jetpack', 'road warrior' etc. however, the music or podcasts are functioning properly including volume control. Can anyone guide me, how to rectify this?

You've probably Muted the iPad. This is either done with the slide switch next to the volume controls, or in the multitask bar, depending on your settings.
