New to Ipad Forum..please help!

Hi all Ipad forum members, I have had an ipad2 for a few months and have been doing ok with it and enjoying all its amazing features. However I tried to update a game app and download a free game a few days ago but they are both still stuck in the 'waiting to update/download' mode. Wifi connection seems ok. I am certainly no expert with Ipad2 and there may be, fingers crossed, a simple solution. Has anybody had a similar problem and managed to resolve it. I would be ever so grateful to hear from you.

maybe you should try power off then see if its continue downloading the rest after the restart or not good luck matey:ipad-front:

You could try deleting the apps and re- installing them.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Have you downloaded anything from the ITunes app recently? Have a look in downloads to see if anything is pending, if there is, just swipe to delete. Your apps should then download, just tap on them to get them going again.

If this isn't it try a reset of your iPad. Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start.
