A big Hi to you all,

I am "kugarius" from the UK or to be more exact, Scotland. I received an unexpected Christmas present in the form of a new Ipad 2. Since then I have hardly put it down, indeed several of my friends and family have commented that......"A'm lik a wean wi a new toey" (I am like a child with a new toy)

It was only today that I thought about the wider "ipad" family and after a google search, checked out several websites that purported to be "ipad forums". After looking at and reading some of the threads and posts on these forums, I came to the conclusion that your forum is unquestionably the one with the best threads, posts and overall content.

Over the next few weeks, I hope to have a good read through all your threads and posts, to get a better understanding of my "new toy" and to familiarise myself with your tips, your likes and dislikes and any problems that you have experienced or are currently experiencing.

Hi freebird, thanks for your welcome and in response to my location, I can tell you that I live in Wishaw (North Lanarkshire). In case you don't know exactly where that is, it is in the same "burgh" as Motherwell, about 17 miles east of Glasgow and about 33 miles west of Edinburgh.

Many thanks for your welcome leelai and a big thanks for the links that you have provided. I have already checked them out and have had a few questions that I had, answered as a result of them. Many thanks.

Hey there, I'm thinking that the most famous resident of Wishaw must be John Higgins?

Hi Gabriel, you are quite correct about the "Wizard of Wishaw" being it's most famous resident. I take it from that, that you are a keen snooker follower ?

When the snooker is on it kind of takes over the TV, I used to be a keen player/watcher, less so now but he is one of the few that I would switch my TV on for these days.......kudos to the man for holding it all together over the last couple of years with all the troubles that he has had!
