Hi, I'm a new member, based on the south coast in the UK - joined so I could find out more about iPads and whether they fit in to my work system.
I have a 17" MacBook Pro that works very well, unfortunately has the old style trackpad so I'm assuming I'll miss out on quite a few goodies when the new Lion OS emerges in spring.
I also travel quite a lot in my work and this old work horse is quite heavy.
So - an iPad is a possible solution to be on the move while my old Pro stays at home, I would also like to find a very good and successful writing/notebook app as I'm constantly taking notes for clients.
P.S. Does the new Magic Mouse have enough functions to make up for a swiping trackpad.
