Hi all,

I just signed up on these forums. I have only had my iPad (32 gb ipad2) a couple of weeks, and have become quite addicted to it.

I did the upgrade to ios5 yesterday evening. It basically went pretty smoothly - there were a couple of errors along the way but it worked in the end.

I now have a couple of apps that no longer work; a couple of older gameloft games have problems, and the akai synthstation does not work at all. Everything else seems fine.

Ps I really wish the iPad virtual keyboard had arrow keys and forward delete. I remember that in 1984 Apple insisted that they were unnecessary on the original Mac, and they don't seem to have learned since.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
