My name is Kevin B. The iPad is my first Apple computer purchase.
I am a novice with the o/s, but I love the product.

1 question-how do I move a word document on a windows xp computer to the iPad?

Welcome Kevin!

Buy the app called Goodreader, it can read word docs (it cost $.99). Then with Goodreader installed, when you sync using iTunes, click the apps tab, scroll down, and you can drag and drop your word files to the box next to Goodreader....
