Hi, I'm A1CNick, from Walla Walla, WA. I've had my iPad 4 for about 3 weeks, now. I managed to get iBooks frozen up (stuck in the bookstore), and came here to find out how to fix the issue (soft reset did the trick!).I'm looking forward to being an occasional participant in this community.

Welcome on board from Brisbane. By any chance is that a mining site? Glad you like the forum . Cheers

It's a moderate sized city about 30 miles from where I live; the closest city of any real size. I go there once or twice a month, at a minimum; mosty to shop for important things like pet snacks and other stuff hard to find (cheaply) in Dayton.

This part of the country is mostly about agricultural products. Wheat, cows, and a scattering of other stuff.

Gosh TP, and here I was thinking he may have been an Aussie. The name Walla Walla certainly sounds Aussie and I thought WA was Western Australia, a state here.

Thanks for this! ;)

No problem. Walla Walla is a rather fun name.

And look! There is a Walla Walla in Australia. Looks like it might even predate the U.S. city, in name anyway.

I just knew we did have a town called Walla Walla! Unusual name for a US city to me, but it is a great name!

I think I've even been through there, well I've certainly been to Wagga Wagga! Thank you again TP!

Col......I thought you felt the same too ;)

Welcome again to you Nick! Great town you come from!

My parents and brother live in Walla Walla; I was just there last week! From there I went to Spokane, then Omak, before heading home to Vancouver (WA).
