New iPad 2 user - photo apps

Hello, I'm brand new to apple...but I plan on loving everything about my ipad2 and I hope to trade in my pc for a MacBook in the near future. I know I have a LOT to learn. Specifically I bought the iPad to help me manage my photos and music. I love iPhoto and was very disappointed to learn that my iPad doesn't have it. I'm looking for suggestions for a great photo app that will allow me to do basic editing and more importantly create photo books and calendars that can be sent to apple for printing. Is that possible without iPhoto? I really love the quality of photobooks created in iPhoto and printed by apple and am looking for an app that will help me do that on my ipad2.

The IPad Forum is a community of members from all walks of life and from all over the world coming together to share our experiences and to help each other learn about this wonderful piece of technology the Ipad.
