New here ant to everything apple

Just dropping a line to say hello. I am new to the apple world. Just picked up a used ipad gen 1 64gb wifi. I am trying it out for two reasons.

1. to use on the new receiver and air play and ...

2. to see if i wanna switch from android to iphones.

I will use the search and FAQ as much as possible. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible here on the site.
