I am new to iPad. I have just set up the calendar and would like to know if I can delete all the "new Event" notices that appear on the calendar every Saturday at midnight. They annoy me just be being there. Thank you for any responses

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Well that sounds a little strange, just press on the event and when it loads, scroll to the bottom where you should find a delete tab.

Perhaps I didn't communicate properly. This is not an event that I entered. It seems to be automatically there every Saturday at 12 am.
It appears on every Saturday forever, for as long as the calendar lives. If I click on it my only option is "edit". I click on repeat "never" but it doesn't go away. Again this is not something that I have entered. Is it soomething that shows up on everybody's calendar all the time? Is it possible that it cannot be gotten rid of?
Very frustrated,

Maybe you accidentally entered a new event that repeats every week. If so when you tap on delete choose future events to delete not just the current one. To find the delete button drag the edit page up.

Thats's exactly what I did yesterday to edit one of existing appointments, because those repeat alarms becomes annoying when you don't close out the event. Also, check to see you set a reminder up by, that might be setting it off as well, you may have that alarm repeating every week there also.
