My iPad 2 keeps going to home screen

Hi there
I have a stock iPad 2
Recently it has started going to home screen very often, sometimes 4-5 times in a minute .
Regardless of the application I am using.
Very very frustrating
I have done a restore as well as reboot.
No difference.
Any help pls

Is your home button broken or stuck? If the answer is no, I'd say all you can do is take it to an Apple Store. Hardware and software problems happen often, and Apple Is pretty good about replacing malfunctioning product

I'm having a similar problem and share your frustration. I recently took it to the Genius Bar for an unrelated issue. They ran diagnostics and nothing showed up at that time. I'd be very interested to hear of any solutions you come up with and will be sure to post anything I learn, too.
