I say get the biggest you can afford but at least a 32gb. Have a think about what you want to do on an iPad, the big question is movies, do you want them available anytime as they are the big ticket GB users here, then music, photos, books, GPS maps, and games, the list goes on. Good luck with your choice.

Yes but it is minimal. The biggest upgrade besides the screen is the camera which is exponentially better.

The processors are the same in the iPad 2 and new iPad, however the new iPad has 1GB of ram versus 512mb in the 2, also the new one has a quad core graphics processor.
