HI everyone,
I am new here so I will get straight to the point. I have an iPad2 that I am very fond of but I have developed a problem. At first most of my battery strength went to Angry Birds, which my 6 year old triplets love. Then they started downloading movies of Mario WII, angry birds, and Sesame Street. They have also figured out how to delete things.

The bookshelf on the desktop only had one book in it; my iPad manual. They seem to have deleted it. (the entire bookshelf, manual included).

My question to anyone who can answer it is how do I get it back?

Thanks,
Tripdaddy

Looks like you'll have to download iBooks again. And then the manual again. You can put restrictions on so that they can't do this again! Look in settings for this.

Shouldn't laugh. Take it from me, it gets worse. In about a years time they'll discover the app store, and bring your iPad to you about three times a day with a request for yet another game that only costs $1.99. Then it will be onto in-app purchases. Multiply that by three because guarantee they won't all carry on liking the same game.

In the meantime, the best advice has already been given. Reload iBooks and the manual then lock it down tight.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Yes download iBooks again and below you will find a link to the manuals. If you are on the site just touch the link, when you have made your selection of the manual you want and it has loaded on the screen just touch the upper right hand corner and you will get an Open in IBooks Option, just press this and it will load in iBooks for you.
