Do we have any amusing advertising slogans, sayings etc which we would like to share?

To kick off, I was amused when Waitrose added a new line to their healthy eating range. Perfectly Balanced raspberry fool!   

I do like the KitKat TV ad with the wreckers' balls. It's being run again.

Did you have an add for yellow pages anywhere.
In Australia we had one with two ladies the boss and the worker.
She forgets to put the business add in the local directory and the bosses line to her is
"not happy Jan"
It was very funny here.

We currently have a pair of actors in the Jedward camp advertising 118. Annoyingly amusing

In which Bond film did someone open a window behind the first letter of a huge hoarding which read Shell Lubrication? The rewording was "subtly" done.

Alan Carr, the chatty man at present.

From the past, Les Dawson.

You reminded me of a headline in the Sun. "Freddie Starr ate my hamster".

Freddie was funny for a very short time span and then absolutely annoying. He could sing quite well and would always ruin the song

Another comic we like is Vince Earl. He was Ron in the soap Brookside.

We were entertained by Vince during a cruise. He was hilarious, a real old fashioned trooper. Ron and his wife were on board for a week. When an act missed the ship, Ron volunteered to fill the gap to keep us entertained. He pulled out fresh material for a 45 minute stint.

I remember seeing Ron on the TV series "The Comedians," a 1970s TV series on which the likes of Frank Carson, Russ Abbott and Charlie Williams made their debuts.

Russell Howard is good and Michael Macintyre! I don't watch much tv so the ads are passing me by! Jack Dee is also a favourite of mine, so droll.

I do love all your suggestions apart from hamster dude, he was an idiot!

sent with love from my iPad on IPF
