Microphone for Karaoke Anywhere HD

Hi, I've downloaded the Karaoke Anywhere HD app but can't get it to work with the internal mic; I suspect it's not compatible.

Has anyone out there used this app and if so, what sort of mic are you using? I was wondering if a USB headset would work with it if I got myself a Camera Kit with the USB port connector.

Can anyone help please?

I've just downloaded this app and no the microphone doesn't appear to work. I have seen apps available that somehow turn your phone into a microphone. Don't know how good this is, just a thought but maybe worth checking out. Just look for microphone in the app store. Hope this helps.

Glen, pick up an iRig Mic. It's inexpensive, designed for the iPhone/iPad, and sounds great. As a handheld electret condenser mic, it is perfect for karaoke.

Does anyone have experience using the Soulo karaoke app and microphone with iPad2 while using mirroring via appleTV?

You can use mic from the apple headset but its not good quality.

Any mic you plug into the ipad for Karaoke HD you need to set the mic level and effects from the FX button. Thats also where you set the karaoke program song volume.

If you use totally external mic and speaker ( I use external PA for mic and playback) FIRST be sure the karaoke mic volume under the Fx button is all the way down to avoid feedback
