Long time PC user. What is this "Apple" thing you refer to?

I just got an iPad2 (fist Apple device" and am kinda Love/Hate right now...BUT...leaning toward LOVE. The whole "follow the Apple rules" thing is kinda anal, but the whole "loosey-goosey does ennythin and everythin" PC world is kinda schizo, so... I can do so many more useful things with the PC but the Apple does what it does SO WELL. (I realize the iPad isn't a full blown Mac, btw)
My fun is going to come while I learn to use my iPad2 in (perfect?) harmony with XP and Win7.
I love a challenge.

Sorting out all these friggin apps!
Geez.

Having fun, though.

My favorite thing has been "Facetime", so far. Seeing and speaking with my loved ones so far away.
