Link from Mail to FB is broken.

Suddenly I can no longer click on a Facebook link in my e-mail without having to sign in anew when I'm on my iPad. This is true even when I have the FB app open at the same time. This is not the case on my iPhone or on any of our Macs. Cananyone help me fix this problem?

BTW, I use gmail. And I don't have to sign in to use the FB app on my iPad.

Go to Settings > FaceBook. If your account is signed in there, try signing out and back in. If not, then sign in.

Is the link taking you to the FaceBook app, or to Safari?

If Safari, make sure you are not in Private Browsing mode (dark gray control interface instead of white), or have Settings > Safari set to block all cookies. Block third parties and advertisers is normally the best choice.

Either of these will prevent websites from remembering your login credentials.
