Quite frequently, when typing on the dock keyboard it loses connection with iPad and will not type anything. I have decided this is the connection between the iPad and the dock, as I can "fiddle" with it (move the iPad slightly to the right and left, or take it out and put it back on the dock) and it works for a while.
I am also convinced that touching the iPad (as required to do so for various functions) puts pressure on the connection point and that creates the problem.
I have even, with trepidation, taken some pliers and tightened the female connector on the dock. That worked for a while.
Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?
