Keep native new iPad apps if restore from original iPad backup?

I plan on setting up my new iPad with a backup from the original iPad. But...the new iPad has camera apps (the original iPad does not.) If I restore from the old iPad backup will I lose the apps that are unique to the new iPad or are they somehow "hard-wired" into the device? I'm thinking that people that did the same process from original iPad to iPad 2 would know the answer to this question

The native apps won't be affected, so you're good to go.
