Im not much help here, but have you looked into your Wifi setting?
While you're *looking around *here are a few links you may find useful.
You might want to provide some more information - which iPad to you own and is the device just Wi-Fi or 3G - if so, how are you trying to connect? Have you ever been able to get onto the internet; and if so, any intervening changes (e.g. different service provider, new/different modem, different Wi-Fi hotspot, etc.).
Also, you might try to 'Restart' and if not successful 'Reset' the iPad to see if that corrects the problem - directions HERE, if not familiar w/ the maneuvers - good luck!
