For those of you who are new to the iPad or have recently upgraded to iOS 5.1 there is a new version of the comprehensive IPad User Guide available for free on the iBooks Store.

For those of you who haven't yet upgraded then the user guides for the previous versions of iOS are still available......and still free!

The most recent (non-beta) of XCode is 4.3.1, released on the Mac App Store March 7th. If your's is older then you should update to make sure you have and are using the most up-to-date API's.

Other than that, it's business as usual from what I've seen. Though that's from someone who hasn't gotten any further than following a few tutorials.

iPad user guide not helpful. For me

I got my new iPad 3 64 GB today. I've been trying for 7, yes seven hours now just to get the network to work.
It's wifi and it's asking for my password, and it won't accept my password. I have an iPad 1 and a PC and they have
The same password. I've tried every password I've ever used to no avail. So I'm coming to the conclusion that it's
Not a password it wants but that's all it can ask for????
When I turn it on that's the only page I get. It has my ISP email address for my wifi network. I hooked it up to my
PC and went into iTunes and tried to cinq but it just sits there flashing password.

Does anyone have any ideas? Also it does not have that prompt "Forgot my password" that would help me.
After 7 hrs. I'm totally frustrated. Hope some of you can help me.

If you can not figure out what the password is the only option is to restore the iPad. Connect the iPad to iTunes. When it shows up in the Devices list do a Restore. You can try a Restore from Backup instead, but if the password is set in the backup it will still be there when you're done. Restoring from the iPad 1's backup would probably work.

I fixed it and figured out what to do after numerous issues with connecting to my wifi hat home.

Just discovered that there is a great introduction to the iPad right in the Safari favorites - they really should have made that the first icon on the screen - as there are some basics that everyone should read but probably no one does.

Don't have it here - but I think it's just the support page
Apple - Support - iPad

It redirects to the list of iPad manuals in PDF format, which is where you go if you click Manuals on the Support page. But on the iPad it goes to the online/web based version of the Manual.

http://help.apple.com/ipad/5/interface/

Can't edit here. So I'll add that though it looks a bit like the iPad support page at first glance, there are a lot more apps and topics listed.
