iPad to DSL modem?

I can connect my iPad 1 via wi-fi elsewhere but not in my house! Can I connect directly to my DSL modem?

If your DSL modem has a buldin wifi then is possible but if not you will need a router with wifi capabilities.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. You can only connect to a DSL modem using WiFi - cable connections, such as RJ-45 Ethernet, are not possible.

If your DSL modem is part of your ISP package, give them a call. They may be able to upgrade you to a Wi-Fi capable modem.
