Check out this really cool video on Pocket-lint featuring The iPad Orchestra playing Sweet Dream on the Seline HD app from Amidio. The app costs £5.49/$8.99 (30% off the normal price) in the iPad App Store, and you can download it here. The orchestra, formed this year, of course, because the iPad only came out this year, was performing in front of a live audience at the end of August.

The Seline HD app is the Number 1 iPad Music App. It uses Amidio’s advanced CrystalClarity HD sound engine to analyse and predict your melodies, altering sounds “on the fly†with a dozen subtle algorhythms. The app features a completely new, ergonomically designed playing surface called ioGrid, with the melodies played with both hands. It has 20 built-in factory voices such as flute, bowed strings, synth leads and so on, and is equipped with the full range of recording possibilities, including direct recording to .wav files.

Future updates to Seline HD will include Wi-Fi MIDI OUT, the ability to record to MIDI as well as.wav, and more instruments.
