Ipad makes random noise!

My ipad2 makes this random noise like almost there is like a notification but there is not even when the ipad is muted it still dose it's no big deal but it's kinda creepy

Mute on the iPad does not do what you expect. It does NOT mute all sounds. Very odd indeed. If you want to turn off the sounds associated with system events, go to Settings >General > Sounds, and change some of those settings. Changing the sounds in there will also likely let you see what the noise actually is, but it's likely a notification.

Thanks! Turns out it was a new mail notification that noise has been bothering me for a while
