Ipad for Taking Notes

I'm a college student.
I want to utilize my ipad to taking notes effectively.
I need some recommandation on apps and stylus for Ipad since there are so many out there.
I'm just wondering how guys utilize ipad as note taking device.

Do a search as there is a long thread here on note taking apps. I personally use Mental Note, as it can handle typed, handwritten, or audio notes. I have a Pogo stylus, which works fine, although I have never tried another brand, so I don't know if it is any better than others.

I’m using NotesDeck so my school notes show up on all my devices instantly (iPad, Mac and iPhone). NotesDeck syncs with Evernote and Dropbox so all my notes from other apps are already in it.


So much cleaner than that yellow Notes app. Much more professional.
