Ipad cover not dping whAt it is supposed to do, help?

I've just purchased the case for the ipad 2...you've all seen the ads where it magnetically stickes to the ipad and it is supposed to put the tablet to sleep when the cover is placed on the screen. Well for whatever reason, it isnt putting my ipad go sleep. Can anyone help me please?

If you go to the Settings menu you'll find there's an option there for turning the Smart Cover functionality on or off. I'm guessing it's probably turned off on your iPad. Have a look and check but, if I'm wrong, get back to us and we'll try some other suggestions.
