iPad backup not working

Hi all

I notice that after I restore my iPad to 3.2.2 because my iPad unable turn on as I accidentally run black rain to my iPad.

I notice that all my data entry on iPad app lost. This is not the first time.

App name is ForeFlight Checklist ( I use the free version )

May I know it there a way to prevent this from happen ?
