iPad and SlingBox?

Hi,

I've heard rumors in the past about Slingbox coming to the iPad. Is it out? When will it be out?

I've thought about getting Slingbox but the small screens of most smartphones have held me back. the iPad is a great size and i'd love to watch Tv on my iPad.

Slingbox and Ipad

Slingbox works great with the Ipad. I have 2 Slingboxes - a Slingbox Classic (old) and a Slingbox HD, and they both work well. The HD has a better picture than the Classic, naturally, since the Classic is years old.

An iPad Slingbox app has been promised since may and there's no sign of it yet. They must be facing extremely difficult hurdles.

I'm wondering if well have to pay that huge price again or if we'll get a discount?

Agreed. I use it only on my computer, at least there it looks nice!

I make due with the iPhone app, but I anxiously await either the iPad version or the DishTV app that was announce recently.

Would be nice if they would tell us an ETA, with all the nice apps like airvideo or what have you that were released, you would expect sling to have at least created a crash free APP. Just release it already!


I'm also ok with paying for it again, slingbox on ipad would be pure gold on a IPAD.
