Can someone tell me what I need to do to improve the signal to my iPad. I need to work from my holiday home which is covered by 3G but not very well. I have been advised to get an outside thing to boost the incoming signal but how do I then get the signal to my iPad - do I need a wireless router? I am completely ignorant so please help!!

Cell phone boosters should be widely available. My supplier for radio and telecommunications is Petron Communications, who can be found in Dawson Creek, Fort St John and Fort Nelson. They have a model with an external antenna for around $175.

Can't vouch for anyone else, and don't know where you are, but I can tell you that these devices pull a signal in out of thin air.

I have read everything thank you and still haven't found anything that helps me. Why do I keep being reminded to read the rules? Have I committed some unintended crime? I have read them you know!! So can anyone help?

Moderators have helpful links in their signatures. Just saves us typing the same stuff over and over again.
