iCloud here yet?

Was in the local Best Buy and a geek squad member said iCloud was released. I doubt it has been since I've been looking all afternoon. What's the scoop?

Not released to the public, but in beta for developers.

Some small pieces are working if you enable them like OTA updates of application across devices.

There was a recent beta release for developers.

Some of the features are available (as beta) for people in the U.S with iOS 4.3.3(?) or higher, and the latest version of iTunes. That's limited to the way the iPad and iTunes can be set up to automatically sync new purchases for Apps, Books, and Music across your devices on the same account. You don't do anything, it's already there. It's turned on/off in the Store settings on the iPad and the Store tab in Preferences in iTunes.

Otherwise, we're all still waiting. Don't worry. There will be a big announcement before it happens. You won't easily miss it.

The limited release is not restricted to the US. We are using it in Malaysia as well.
