I have corrupted system update

I have corrupted system update.

I have corrupted system update. When I go to general and software update it shows update now or update tonight.

When you go to update now it does not do any thing.

I gone to general, iPad storage and tried showing for the update but can’t find it there.


To delete an iPad update, go to Settings > General > iPad Storage, find the downloaded update in the list, tap it, and then select "Delete Update." This will remove the update file from your device

I did that I can’t find it there?

What do I do now?

It‘ possible the update hasn‘t been downloaded yet. If so, you won‘t find it in the iPad‘s storage, and the software is not corrupted. See what happens when you select „Update Now“.

I did that and nothing happens.

If it‘s supposed to start downloading, you‘ll see “Update requested” first, and as soon as it starts downloading, you’ll see the progress bar and the time it will take to finish downloading.

If that doesn’t happen either, try restarting your iPad. Maybe you’ll find the update afterwards, or it will start downloading.

I’m trying to update to 26.2

I’m wondering if there is a way to delete the update?

All I get is this.

It is 9th generation iPad.

Running 18.6.2

This update hasn’t been downloaded yet. So you can’t delete it.
When you select “Update Now”, the new software will start downloading.
