i have a problem with my ipad everytime i use it freezes on me it would work for a little bit then freezes what can i do

Go straight to the Genius bar, if an Apple store is nearby. Or, call the customer support line. Either way, waste no time and get it exchanged. Will it stay up long enough to do a backup to iTunes?
