How to share my ipad with my smart tv?

Hi every bodies here. Do you guys can give me a hand please? I wish to know how to share my iPad movie or show to my smart tv? Does anyone can help me out please?

Quickest and cheapest solution, for the ipad2, is to buy an AV adaptor ( Apple Digital AV Adapter - Apple Store (U.S.) ) and a cheap hdmi cable
