how to preload images in an ipad application

Hi All,

I am running jquery codes for an application in iPad.I have a slideshow display by using jqeury which takes little time to load images and shows loading icon, my problem is that i am making this application native for iPad so i need my images to be preloaded.
Please help me to get the best solution for this.

You can use other programs to pre-load - like GoodRead, or DropBox
