How to create private folders

Is there a way to do that? I want some of my apps kept private and can't figure it out.

The only way to have private folders (that no one can get into, without a password), is to have a jail broken iPad and install a tweak such as AppLocker from Cydia.

Sorry, but for a stock iPad, there's no way other than hiding the folder way back on the last page of your iPad.
