Just synced I pad air with I tunes on laptop and all diagnostics and usage data has gone ,Happy Days,but being honest it doesn't work every time,try leaving d&u data on show then couple to laptop let it sync then just pull plug on I pad ,I know it sounds peculiar but that has just worked for me,good luck
