So now that I've joined this forum it's official. I'm an Apple addict. They say admitting your problem is the first step. I have the iphone4, an IMac computer and I GOt MY IPAD 2 IN THE MAIL TODAY. So I brought it straight to the mall to see what it needed. I couldn't decide so I thought I'd just protect it with the Zagg Invisible shield for now and I bought the cheaper smart cover. I tried to convince Apple that they should give me a free one but no go. You never know with them though. They have been extremely generous with me and my gadgets. When I dropped IPhone and cracked her back they gave me a brand new one. ;)

I'm noticing that this Zagg shield takes a lot of the sleekness out of the touch screen. Its actually sticky and not nearly as cool as the naked screen. Maybe I'll remove it from the front and leave it on the back. So I don't know what I'll ultimately need or want.

I have to say this thing is so effing cool!

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

I've been using my iPad1 for six months now without a screen protector and I've had no problems at all. As long as you're careful, it won't get scratched.

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
