I do have a question, I watch those quick how to, videos. They will not stay running, 2 seconds and the video turns off. Is this because my router is inadequate?:

So the video just stops, the app doesn't close? This would seem to point to your Internet speed with downloading your video, which may in turn point to your router. Does more of the video then load and you can start it again?
