Hi I don't have the printer connected to my computer. I have tried to connect the iPad via USB to the printer but not recognising it. I think I need to find an app with supports my printer but I've searched for hours and can't seem to find one. The printer is brilliant and I don't want to change it. Is there something else I can do?

Many thanks

No, printers cannot be connected directly to the iPad. Are you able to access this printer from your pc?

If the printer is not connected to the pc but you can print using the pc, then you probably have it connected to your wifi network through the print server (such as the JetDirect175x) or your wifi router. In either of these cases, I suggest you download the free version of fingerprint and give it a try. If it works, you can upgrade to the paid version for more functionality.

If you don't have this printer connected so that you can print from the pc and you don't want to connect it to the pc, then you need to get a wifi print server or a wifi router where you can connect it since you need the wifi to be able to print from the iPad.

In case you don't have it, here is the user manual for the printer
