My iPad shut off and won't turn on. What should I do? I have the first one and it is a yr and 2 months old.

Hi Shakee... - not sure that I understand your problem, i.e. may need some more explanation - first, I'm assuming that your battery is charging properly? Also, an iPad1 from your description - jailbroken or not? Just questions that might help others respond.

I'm also assuming that you have already tried to 'Restart' (hold the on-off button top right until the slider appears, turn off, then on again) or 'Reset' (hold both the on-off & the home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears, a reboot will occur, then start up again) - if none of this works then please respond back to this thread - good luck!
