I was wonder if anyone could help me. I can no longer save photos from safari to my ipad, it just says save failed...any one can help? Thanks

When you tap on the image do you get a pop up like this...?
And then, when you tap Save Image you get Save Failed?
Have you tried a reset/reboot?
Try a reset/reboot, hold the power/sleep button and the home button down at the same time and continue holding until the Apple logo appears. Let go and your iPad should restart although it may take longer than usual. See if that solves your problem.

In addition, if you are using iOS 6, you have to authorize the app to save photos. The options are under the Privacy settings in your Settings app. Unfortunately, I don't have a device running iOS 6 and can't give you a specific directions to the Privacy tab. But, I know that if an app isn't authorized to save photos, it won't.
