Googled an iPad question and found out there is an iPF app, so downloaded it and immediately got stuck. It says to get push notifications I need to go to the Push tab, and it might be under More, and another message said it'd be under More - Settings. If it is in either of those places I can't find it. I sure hope the rest of the iPF experience is better than this. Any suggestions?

Actually I do not use the push-option and iPF App works perfect for me.
Anyway, you find the push setting here:

Hmmm, I can't quite read a what you posted (I can only enlarge it so much, then it gets too fuzzy too read) but when I select More the two choices I get are Settings and Help, and I can see enough of what you posted to tell it isn't Settings. Are you doing it from your iPad or a computer? Could that be why I'm getting different options in More? Thanks for the help!!

just click on the picture and it will open full size in a new window. That is the app version, so it's on an iPad.

...and hpulmer is in Germany , so his version is in German, but what you need is in exactly the same place on the screen.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

You should be on your iPad with the app. I use it all the time. Go to the Settings app then Notifications and set up your alerts there. Whilst in the app, press More (bottom right) and yes you will get Settings and Help, press Settings and this will load with Forum Reading and Posting options and Facebook if you use it. Just set these how you want them.
Hpulmer is from Germany so his are in German, when on the app if you just press the photos they will load in full size, no need to try to peer at them. You'll be fine, just a little learning curve but the app is so much simpler to use. Any thread you post to will immediately subscribe you to that thread, so you will get notifications on the Subscribed tab whenever new posts are added to that thread. If you like a thread and want to subscribe to it just press the arrow thingy top right and this will load with options, to Reply to post, refresh, or to subscribe. Pressing the Forums tab will take you to all the different sub forums. Just have a play.

Duh ... Thanks everyone! I should have seen it right up there at the top, but I'm so anal that I couldn't see it because it is center justified, and the ones below it are left justified. Oh brother! I look forward to using iPF a lot. Ciao.
