Hi all! First things first, a little bit about me. My name is Tracey and I'm a misplaced New Zealander living in Las Vegas with my hubby, 2 grown sons and more pets than you could shake a stick at.
I'm a new convert to the iPad, having fallen into ownership by accident. A customer sold me an android tablet, which I fell in love with ... mostly. A few days later she came back and told me her husband was very upset because she'd sold the wrong thing. Being the doll I am, I traded for their unopened iPad 2.
I have things I prefer about both devices, but for the most part, the iPad wins. It's lighter, easy to use and more responsive than the Iconia was. It was a bonus that stuff just worked, such as streaming media services, whereas Netflix, Hulu etc wouldn't on the Iconia. The only two things I preferred on the latter were the camera and the customization. I very much miss my thumb keyboard and the fact I could see commonly used things right there on the screen.
Anyway,that's probably more than you needed to know. I look forward to getting to know everybody!
