Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.
Have fun and enjoy your iPad
You can't set up mail folders in the iPad's native Mail app directly. If you are using the older POP mail protocol to receive your email, you can't do this at all. If you're using the newer IMAP protocol, that's now supported by almost all email service providers, then your iPad will mirror the folder structure that you have set up on your email server. So you'll need to use webmail - say using the iPad's Safari web browser, to go and set up the mail folders you'd like to see replicated on your iPad, on the mail server. Next time you start up the iPad's Mail app, it will import and display all the various folders that you have on the email server.
If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
